MJSG is an informal meeting of Michael Jackson fans from the MJFC website.  2010 will be our first meeting and we hope for it to be an annual event in coming years.

MJSG 2010 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SOCIAL GATHERING EXCLUSIONS

The MJSG 2010 Event does not include:  Hotel accommodations (unless other wise noted) , Air transportation; costs and fees to obtain or extend your passport/s; visa fees and processing fees; inoculations and vaccinations (if required); health certificate; airport taxes and country departure taxes (if applicable); all items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages, meals not specified in the itinerary, any gratuities, excess baggage charges, cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance, any transfers not specified in the itinerary, and any items not specifically listed as included.  The member understands that this event is out of pocket and no monies will be refunded/reimbursed through MJSG 2010.

 

 

MJSG 2010 reserves the right to take photographs during the operation to use resulting photographs for promotional purposes. Any members who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify us at the beginning of the program.

RESPONSIBILITY– LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

MJSG 2010 acts only in the capacity as a social event to the member. The member is advised that MJSG 2010 may purchase such transportation, hotel accommodations, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers who are not affiliated with MJSG 2010. MJSG 2010 makes every effort to select the best suppliers of the aforementioned services, however, MJSG 2010 does not control the operations of these agents and as a result, CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR OTHER CLAIM which may occur as the result of any and/or all of the following: (1) the wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the independent supplier, agent, its employees or others who are not under the direct control or supervision of MJSG 2010; (2) defects or failures of any vessel, aircraft, vehicle or other instrumentality which is under the control of an independent supplier; or (3) loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise, resulting directly or indirectly from any Acts of God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, or wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, medical epidemics, quarantines, or customs regulation, defaults, delays or cancellations or alterations in itinerary due to schedule changes, or from any causes beyond MJSG 2010’s control. Further, MJSG 2010 is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports, visas or other legal documents. All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts and tickets (if any) issued by MJSG 2010 are issued subject to any and all tariffs, terms, and conditions under which any services are provided by such hotels, airlines, bus companies, etc.,  or owners or contractors or by any person in their employment with MJSG 2010.

In no way guarantees the quality, authenticity, or value of any good(s) purchased by the member during any tour.  MJSG 2010 shall in no event be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from your interaction with any retailer/vendor, and MJSG 2010 expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any resulting loss or damage.

 

  RIGHTS

MJSG 2010 (when deemed necessary) reserves the right to: (1) cancel any itinerary or any part of it; (2) make any alterations to the itinerary (including but not limited to substitution of hotels, attractions, destinations, and the order of the itinerary) taking into consideration the practicality of the itinerary or to accommodate any unforeseen issues that may arise on the ground; and (3) decline to accept or to retain any person as a tour member should such person’s health, mental or physical condition, in the sole opinion of MJSG 2010. Members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the tour. If a member is asked to leave while the tour is in progress, that person will be responsible for charges incurred on account of such departure from the tour and/or return to his/her home country. In such a case, MJSG 2010 will not refund any monies. MJSG 2010 will accept no further liability or obligation toward that person or third party.
